Youth Pastor

  • Started May of 2025!

I have a Bachelors in Christian Studies and a Minor in Biblical Studies from Dallas Baptist University and a Masters in Theology & Ministry from Howard Payne University.

  • Waking up and making a big breakfast for my family, going out on an afternoon adventure to explore someplace I’ve never been like a new restaurant or State Park or something, and then finishing with a quiet evening at home.

  • Dr. Pepper and some Dots pretzels.

  • I love youth ministry because I believe that teenagers are at the most critical times in their lives in deciding their future and I enjoy getting to be one of the voices that points them to follow Jesus in that future. Seeing students take hold of their faith in a personal way and live it out is so rewarding!

Youth and Young Families Admin

  • I came to First Lubbock during my first semester at Texas Tech in 2021 and had the privilege of working as a youth intern for three years. I started working as the youth and family admin assistant in February of 2026 and love getting to work in ministry again!

  • My perfect Saturday starts with cuddling my smiley baby. I'd get some Summer Moon coffee, make pancakes, and then my husband would drive us to Target and let me browse around for a while. We'd eat lunch at Thai Pepper, then go to Barnes and Noble to get books and a puzzle. We'd take a solid afternoon nap, then go for a walk around Tech's campus. My husband would grill something for dinner and we'd eat with our friends. The day ends with a movie, puzzling, and my baby sleeping through the night!

  • I will always grab sour patch kids and a cherry vanilla coke!

  • When I came to First Lubbock, I fell in love with the community I found through the college ministry. The leaders poured into me and made me feel welcome in a place where I didn't know anyone. While I was interning, I found a passion in serving students and building relationships with them. I loved the opportunity to not only lead them but learn from them as well. I met my husband at First Lubbock, I get to raise my first baby here, and I have made friendships that have turned into family! There are no words that fully can describe my love for this church family!
