Are you called to serve our church family by providing a safe and secure worship environment? First Baptist Church - Lubbock is seeking dedicated, professional, and Christ-honoring volunteers to join our Safety and Medical Ministry.

Open Positions:

· Safety Team (Interior/Exterior): Monitor our campus, assist with crowd control, and provide a visible, welcoming safety presence.

· Medical Team: Provide immediate first aid and emergency response during services and events.

· Heavy Greeters: Serve as a friendly first point of contact while maintaining situational awareness for the safety of our members.

Qualifications:

To maintain the highest standards of safety and ministry, all volunteer applicants must:

· Be a member of First Baptist Church for a minimum of 6 months.

· Be 21 years of age or older.

· Successfully pass a criminal background check.

· Commit to initial and ongoing training (including CPR/AED and de-escalation).

· For Medical Team: Must hold a valid Texas license (RN, EMT, MD, etc.) and maintain BLS certification.

· For Armed Safety: Must possess a valid Texas LTC and meet quarterly qualification standards.
