Tell us a bit about yourself.  When did you come to First Lubbock?

Moved to Lbk in 1996 and started coming to FBC in the Fall. Started working in college ministry in 2016 when my oldest moved away to college.

What's your favorite place you've visited?

Favorite place I’ve visited is South Africa.

 

Other than Jesus, what historical figure would you most like to meet?

​Would most like to meet Esther.

What are a few of your hobbies?

Love to watch movies with my family, go to Aggie football and baseball games, cook for friends, family and coworkers.

What do you love most about First Lubbock?

The thing I love most about my church are the members who go here and who have poured into me and my family over the last 28 years. The people who I have served alongside on mission trips or walked through difficult seasons of life are the reason we love it here. It’s the reason our kids want to be here on a Sunday morning when they come to visit and the reason they are involved in their own local churches. No one person stands out but rather a pattern of encouragers willing to stand in the gap when needed.

 

What would you say to a guest to encourage them on their journey to finding a church home?

To someone looking for a church home, you have to get plugged in and serve. You will see the heart of our church when you serve with them.
