GET TO KNOW:
BRITTNYE DAVIS
WOMEN'S MINISTRY LEADER
Tell us a bit about yourself. When did you come to First Lubbock?
I started attending First Lubbock in 2004. I was in high school and learned about the college ministry from my older brother. I had heard amazing things about Paradigm, so my friends and I would drive to Lubbock on Thursday nights and pose as college kids in the back pews. I was hooked! I joined my first Sunday as an official college freshman and have been at First Lubbock ever since.
What's your favorite place you've visited?
I like just about every place I visit, so it's hard to narrow it down to one. London ranks at the top of my list because of its beauty and history.
Other than Jesus, what historical figure would you most like to meet?
I would love to meet Corrie Ten Boom. I am amazed at her courage, tenacity, and faithfulness. I couldn't read her book fast enough, and I have a feeling that she had many more amazing stories of miracles and mercies to tell.

What are a few of your hobbies?
I love to read and write. I also enjoy traveling with my family.

What do you love most about First Lubbock?
The members. My first Lubbock family has cheered me up mountains and crawled beside me in valleys. There has never been a season of life where I have not felt loved and supported by my church family.
What would you say to a guest to encourage them on their journey to finding a church home?
Plug in as much as you can. Find a Sunday School class, and then look for ways to serve consistently inside the church walls and take opportunities to serve alongside other church members outside the church walls. Your relationships will deepen, and your faith will be strengthened.
