Tell us a bit about yourself. When did you come to First Lubbock?
I’m originally from Kansas but have lived in and traveled to quite a few places in the US and overseas. Once I found Lubbock, I felt more at home than I had anywhere else and have been so happy to be here the past 9 years with my 3 little boys: Alexander, Adrian and Arthur.

What's your favorite place you've visited?
While I’ve absolutely loved the beautiful nature of Alaska and the historical charm of England and Ireland, my absolute favorite place is Turkey, Texas (less than 2 hours from Lubbock!) The whole town is full of the best people, music, and food!

Other than Jesus, what historical figure would you most like to meet?
If I could meet any historical figure, I would choose Anne Frank. I think her writing was so beautiful and really highlights how one can see the light and love even in the darkest times.

What are a few of your hobbies?
I am a musician, photographer, and songwriter so I enjoy any time I can spend creating music and art!

What do you love most about First Lubbock?
My favorite thing about First Lubbock is how warm and welcoming everyone is, and also the activities they provide like the bowling team, the women’s mahjong meets and the kids night out!
What would you say to a guest to encourage them on their journey to finding a church home?
I would encourage them to meet and talk with as many people here as possible, really get to know the people that make this church feel like a community.
