Fall Kickoff Sunday
At First Lubbock, we know that kids thrive when given age-specific programs that are both fun and educational. Our goal is to help kids see God for who He is and to see themselves the way God sees them, so they can love others the way God loves them.
We are passionate about helping kids find and follow Jesus. From Sunday school to loving and caring volunteers, our goal is to ensure each child experiences a safe and fun environment where they can encounter the love of God. From sill skits to larger-than-life lessons, the Bible is taught in creative and relevant ways so that each child might understand and experience God's love and truth.
8:15am Early Worship Service Care (birth - 3's)
9:30am Sunday school - Bsbird to 5th grade
11:00am Late Worship Service Care (birth - 3's)
We want our littlest ones to sense that church is a safe place where people care for them. Once your child is checked in, head to their assigned class where a loving volunteer will gather specific information about your child's needs: eating schedule, snacks, developmental level, etc.
Young children learn best when they are having fun! Our Sunday school volunteers use a curriculum by Lifeway that helps kids connect with Jesus and learn more about the Bible. Volunteers actively engage the kids with creative teaching, lively worship, and tons of opportunities for hands-on fun.
Special Sunday School Events
Kids @ First Lubbock provides a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children learn:
"God made me"
"God loves me"
"Jesus wants to be my forever friend"
"God has a purpose for me"
Children and Preteens
Before kids move up to middle school, our goal is that every child learn four basic truths:
"Jesus loves me, no matter what"
"I can trust Jesus, and His word, no matter what"
"Jesus will help me love others"
"Jesus has a purpose for my life"
In our grade school classes, we use a Bible-based curriculum called The Gospel Project. It is our desire to partner with parents to help children and families find and follow Jesus.

If this is your first time to visit, you don't need to be a member of First Lubbock to join us. You only need to be a mom!
What you will need:
We are located at 2201 Broadway, and it will be easiest to park in the back lot of the Activities Building at 13th & Vernon or in the east lot. Enter the Activities Building through the north or west double doors by pushing the buzzer. After you have entered, proceed to the first floor (preschool hallway). If you are checking in children, you will find out where they will go at the hall desk. Moms will all meet in the large meeting room on the east end of that same hall.

Family Dedication and Parent Class
Family Dedication: TBA
As parents, we dedicate so much to our children: time, money, values, traditions, etc. We must not forget the most important decision - to raise our children up to know Jesus. We want to partner with you as a church family to guide your child to love Jesus, know that the Bible is true, and know that serving God should be one of our greatest desires. Join us as we learn together what it means to dedicate our children to the Lord.
Contact us for more information and to sign up for a class.
*One class must be attended before Family Dedication.
